So recently one of my housemates lent me 'The Girl With All The Gifts' by M.R.Carey. It was an really entertaining book, addictive, easy to read, great concept. Real nice. I enjoyed it throughly. Now part way through me shoving my nose deep in it's pages the same housemate pipes up and says she's got another book to lone me thats along the same sort of lines story/genre wise but also that it's waaaaaay better.... Damn the girl weren't wrong!

So recently my blog went down for around a week. It was all to do with a domain name thing and some technical issues with google.admin. I struck up rather lengthy dialogue with someone called David at google support whom lacked a sense of humour (he really didn't get me) and these useless, robotic like conversations often left me frustrated to the point of tears. Pair that with a particularly long and rather pressure filled week at work and you've got a recipe for one sensitive little soul. Extreme exhaustion and dealing with a fuck load of stress from all sides leaves you prone to tears, tantrums and irritability in the extreme (not to mention the odd involuntary nap attack). Now the blog is back up (I fixed it... yay me!) I figure I'd do a little post on a realisation i've come to in recent months, at times like this there's one really important thing to remember...

I know I've been away forever. Stuff happened guys. I'm not going to go into it but shit went down. Lots of shit, bad shit, good shit, mostly good shit, excellent shit actually, but shit none the less. 

Anyways... I'm back. Sort of. As and when. No promises. Oh I hate myself... I've turned into one of those vague 'not sure if my schedule will allow it' types. Don't you just loathe them? So aggravating! I WANNA MAKE A PLAN GOD DAMMIT NOT SIT AROUND WAITING FOR YOUR THUMBS UP / DOWN AN HOUR BEFORE OUR DINNER PLANS. However this is who I am now. I've gone from solid graphic design job with a steady income to freelance producing and art directing on music vids and commercials. It's wicked and awesome but also keeps me crazy busy and I never know what I'll be doing from one day to the next or if I'll be able to afford to buy 39p noodles let alone beauty and skin care products.


So I'm here guys and dolls and dolls and guys and I'm going to post when I can, about whatever the hell I want to and there's nuthin' you can do about it. xxx
