Kyla La Grange

This girl is incredible. She is, quite frankly a petit package of perfect loveliness. 












Her voice is like nothing I've ever heard before, delicate and breathy (is that a word?) but full of passion and presence. And dat hurr!!!!! Ahhhh!!! 

I've had the absolute pleasure of working with this glorious example of a unicorn in human form and I can honestly say, Kyla is one of the sweetest, sexiest and most awesomely talented people I know.

*TRIVIA ALERT* I art directed the video for 'The Knife' ^^^ and that scorpion you can see on the microphone, well, it's real... And it stank... Like really smelt seriously bad. Glamorous business right pals? Ha! xxx

    I've seen a live Performance of 'The Knife' which was absolutely stunning - her voice is calming yet wants you to move (??) and has a recall value...just amazing :)
    A real scorpion?? I would have ran :D
    But why do the female singers always have to have this crazy, beautiful,, enviable hair? Lorde, Kayla, Lana..

      Because they have people who look after their hair ;) haha!

      Don't worry... the scorpion was dead. That's probably why he smelt. 

      Totally get what you mean about the calming / moving thing. She's just fucking wicked eh? x

    Well shit. She has now been on the repeats all day. This could go on for days.. Her voice and hair will probably come into my dreams tonight, and I don't mind one bit. 

    PS Kudos on the The Knife. Scorpion and all, it was one hell of a video. Keep up the amazing work pleaseeee. X

      Thanks Ashley! :) It was a wicked fun day. The album is insane right? I literally love every song. I think another favourite would be 'I Don't Hate You' oooh and 'White Doves' aaaah shit... it's all AMAZING. x

    I know you aren't twins but you really look like twins. It's not true you are really beautiful. Even most of slavic girls aren't as so beautiful as you. I think, I hurt English when I am talking and writing.

    Ahhh saw Kyla support Bastille last night!! I was so excited when she was announced as support and she was bloody fantastic. I got to see two of my faves in one gig it was awesome. I don't hate you, the knife and fly we're definite highlights for me. We got to say hello and have a bit of a chat after and it was just so refreshing meeting such an amazing artist who was so humble and modest. Totally see what you mean about her being petit, I was pretty much in awe of her, she's like a fairy or something haha
