Orly Base Coat Nail Bonder



Listen up! There's a new base coat in town and it's SEXY. Ok it's not. Not really. It's just the name. All 50 shades of awful and shizzle (I haven't read it, I'd rather just watch porn). Aaaaanyway...


Having jumped on the OPI Nail Envy band wagon a while back I was, at first, pretty pleased with the results, however after a while I found that my nails seemed to be pretty brittle. A corner would just kinda snap off randomly, stuff like that. Not cool. Soooo I was on the hunt for a new base coat and picked up this little beauty by chance whilst in LA.

Thankfully it's available in boots for £5 (Take that OPI!) as this blinder of a base coat is my new favourite thing! It's wicked and really seems to have helped my nails in terms of overall health. They aren't brittle, are way less flakey and seem pretty strong.

My nail varnish has been lasting a longer than usual also. Even shitty formulas go for a few days, with the better stuff lasting around a week! A WEEK! That's bloody well unheard of for me normally.


This stuff is awesome. Really freakin' top notch with knobs on. If you are in the market for a base coat then BUY BUY BUY.

    I'm so glad you blogged about this! I use OPI base coat but I'm getting to the end of it and dreading purchasing a new one because it is so expensive! I will have to give this one a try.

    Thanks so much for reviewing this! Have been eyeing it up in Boots and was a little unsure! Currently trying to get the last few drops out of CND stickey base coat. Bit sad cos along with Seche Vite they were a dream team!! Time for a trip to Boots :)

      Definitely give it a try you won't be disappointed! Normally get over a week out of my nail varnish now - before it chipped after a couple of days. Not sure where you can get it, picked mine up on ebay, along with far too many Essie nail varnishes.. so so cheap from US sellers :)
