Origins GinZing Moisturiser

When I repurchase a product that has anything to do with skin care, well, it's kind of a big deal. As I've gone through three of these little pots of joy now I figure it's time I share the happiness and let you lot know what the low down is.





Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturiser is an oil-free light weight little number that promises to perk up the dullest of complexions. Does it do that? Well yeah. I guess so. I'm no fool, I don't believe that a little bit of gel-like lotion is going to hide last night's 2am bedtime and five *absolutely necessary* margaritas, but it does make me feel like my skin is a little bit brighter and a little less grey.

Even if the miniature boost in radiance is all in my head, the smell of this product is enough to help me feel like I can face the morning commute and the wonders it brings (is it just me that's noticed a distinct rise in BO's levels on the tube pre 7am? Gag). It's absolutely delicious. Super citrusy and really refreshing. Honestly, I just had to grab my pot and have another whiff because I started thinking about how good it was.

Most importantly for me it's an excellent moisturiser. It's not sticky, it sinks into my skin easily, a little goes a long way, it lasts all day and as it's a cross between a gel and a lotion it doesn't feel heavy or mask like. I absolutely love it.

Also, it's worth noting, my lovely little pals, that my skin is a sensitive soul and despite forking out for various high end skin saviours in the moisture area I've always had to revert back to using my tried and tested 'Simple - Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser' after breakouts and reactions. Not this time baby! Basically, I'm in a relationship. A long term, committed relationship. It might be a little pricey (£23… eek!) but until something else remarkable comes along and slaps me round the face it's me and this orange scented bad boy for life, or at least until the money runs out...
