That chilled lemon flan looks amazing! It reminds me of the Friends episode involving flan (If you have not yet seen it, you must!)

Are you possibly referring to the 'Birthday Flan'? Or have you got a bit muddled and confused the flan with the cheese cake Rachel and Chandler can't stop eating? Either way it doesn't matter! I love friends. The box set has kept me company through many deadlines, bouts of insomnia and sick days.

DeleteBut, no joke, that show is amazing. I have seen probobaly every episode at one point or another in my life and they just never get old. I will for sure make the Lemon Flan and report back. Have you ever had traditional Flan? My mom makes a really good one, and I would be happy to send the recipie your way if you are interested in trying it.
You seem really good with the foods so I'm going to take a long shot and ask for your opinion (only if you feel like giving it, or course). I have to come up with a fruit tart for work/a competition so I'm thinking lavender-poached peaches on top of a honey pastry cream base. Yay or nay?
